Tiptoeing through a bustling kitchen filled with the aroma of filter coffee and crispy medu vadais is a cherished childhood memory. As the youngest daughter of the founder of Nagpur’s beloved South Indian restaurant ‘Shanti Bhavan’, I grew up immersed in the rich flavors and warm hospitality of our family eatery. While idlis, dosas, and vadais are found across Mumbai, the soul of South Indian cuisine lies in its authenticity. Sharing a truly South Indian flavourful meal experience with authenticity at its core has been a carefully preserved dream. Santosham has been a realisation of that dream. Family recipes passed down from generations.

Most items at Santosham are reminiscent of the pure and sacred “Temple Cuisine” which is traditionally offered as “Prasadam” in temples in Southern India.

Our company, Santosham Foods is a Private limited company formed in May 2022
Our brand vision is to serve truly Authentic South Indian cuisine at economical prices with no compromise on brand experience. Authenticity is becoming rare in today’s where fusion has gained momentum. In Mumbai, South Indian Cuisine is much loved and easily available but lacks the authentic flavours one can experience in a traditional South Indian home.
Santosham – സന്തോഷം (Malayalam) and சந்தோஷம் (Tamil) means
‘Happiness’ or ‘Joy’. This is exactly how we envision our customer’s experience with our brand ‘Santosham’.

The food is really authentic south indian, filter coffee is amazing. Clean and hygenic place with helpful staff. Must visit.
